What is the difference between an NPN and PNP transistor? In an NPN transistor, current flows from collector to emitter when a positive base voltage is applied. In a PNP transistor, current flows from emitter to collector when the base is driven to a lower voltage than the emitter. NPN is more commonly used because electrons have higher mobility than holes.
What is the difference between AM and FM modulation? In AM (Amplitude Modulation), the carrier's amplitude varies with the signal while frequency stays constant.
